Job Summary

Our client in Asset Management is looking to hire a Head of Human Capital. This position will manage a team of human capital in the group of companies and ensure that the team provides high-quality service to the whole business.

Job Details

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention.
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate and implement policies, processes, and training to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Provide leadership in developing strategies for strategic workforce plans, performance management, talent development, remuneration, and industrial relations.
  • Act as a champion in driving cutting-edge interventions to drive productivity and profitability of the business.
  •  Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Provide the strategic framework to assist staff in understanding company policies and labour legislation.
  • Develop and implement departmental budget and staff appraisal
  • Take the lead in designing a framework for employee relations that ensures industrial harmony across the group
  • Ensure the company’s training and development interventions are anchored on developing organizational structures aligned with the company’s strategy
  • Facilitate professional development, training, and certification and appraisal activities for HR staff.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management productivity, reward system, occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in human capital management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR Issues and procedure
  • Professional certification like PHR, SPHR or other HR certification is preferred
